Gulf Bayport Chemicals LP (GBC) was founded in 2004 with the intent to purchase the chemical assets of Lonza Inc’s Bayport Texas facility. The Bayport facility is a fully integrated specialty chemical manufacturing site. GBC was fortunate to acquire a tremendously skilled and experienced work force due the structure of the asset purchase. Since the acquisition, GBC has had several expansions more than doubling the capacity of the plant. Our Corporate focus is threefold; produce the highest quality products in the markets we serve. Focus on the customer providing excellent customer service, ensuring we have the products they need to grow their business, and focus on cost, we keep our costs down so we can better serve our customers.
